the deadbeats - 2012
The Deadbeats is a hip-hop / jazz / funk band with members residing in Hawaii and California and known in the past for their Wednesday night weekly appearances at Honolulu's Jazz Minds venue. They've had a blast opening for top hip hop groups like Common, Jurassic 5, Black Star, among others. Do You is the band's second album that Ethan co-produced with fellow band members, and the album scored a Na Hoku nomination in 2013 for Hip Hop Album of the Year, a premier music award in Hawaii. deandre - 2018
Singer DeAndre Brackensick is well recognized from American Idol's Seasons 10 and 11 and widely respected in numerous countries for his incredible R&B voice. He currently resides in Australia so Ethan always has a great time performing with him when he's in town, as well as playing on DeAndre's Black Denim debut album. Henry kapono & friends - 2018
Henry Kapono is an actor, an author, a Grammy nominee, and a notorious music legend known in almost every Hawaiian household having achieved plenty of awards for his singing/songwriting, too many to list. In May 2018, he established the Henry Kapono Foundation, whose mission is to "strive to support and strengthen our community through music and the arts and by giving with aloha." To help launch those efforts, he partnered with Hawaii's top artists for The Songs of C&K album. Ethan has had the honor of playing and recording on the album with an outstanding talented group.
